Handmade bag dyed with saffron petals
Cooperative of women Khorashad village, run by the local women, makes the fabric of this bag of in Khorashad, a village in Birjand, Iran. The art of weaving, Tobafi, has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2018.
The bags are made by Tis, a company managed and led by women in Mashhad, Iran.

- 100% handmade
- The fabric used is 100% cotton, the colors are natural. The purple color is extracted from the Saffron flower petals, and the yellow is from the Reseda flowers.
- Dimension: 22 * 12 * 4cm
- You can see the gift box that contains the bag in the photo. A card is attached containing a handwritten Persian poem by Rumi, and customizable space for your wishes, a dried saffron flower, a glass bottle containing petals of Saffron and Reseda, and a postcard depicting a beautiful photo of the photographic exhibition "Saffron, its land and its people" accompany the bag as well. Also included is a postcard with photographs of the scarf making process and an explanation of the project.
